When did Booking Office 1869 open and who designed the restaurant?
Booking Office 1869 opened on 16th November 2021. The meticulous redesign was overseen by award-winning Parisian architect and designer Hugo Toro, who collaborated with renowned hotelier Harry Handelsman (Chiltern Firehouse, The Stratford) to create a London dining experience that blends heritage with modern influences. This project marks the first UK commission for Hugo Toro, who previously led the design for French venues including La Scène, Perruche, and GiGi de Ramatuelle.
